Big Dutchman Southern Africa is currently busy with an ongoing broiler project in Zimbabwe, consisting of a 50,000-bird facility comprising two broiler houses. The project is a full turnkey solution, covering both building construction and equipment installation, providing the client with a complete, production-ready operation.
House 1 has been successfully completed, with construction and equipment installation finalised and the facility ready for production. House 2 is currently in progress, with our team actively on-site to ensure the same high standard of construction and equipment integration is achieved throughout.
Each house is equipped with Big Dutchman broiler production systems, including feeding, drinking, climate control, and ventilation solutions — all tailored to support optimal bird performance and welfare. The two-house layout is designed to maximise production efficiency and allow for flexible flock management across cycles.
This project reflects Big Dutchman Southern Africa’s continued commitment to expanding world-class poultry infrastructure across the region, supporting the growth of the Zimbabwean poultry industry.
