Cleaning Home Grown Crops
Pigs and poultry are incredibly sensitive so, ensuring you have the right equipment to effectively clean the crops you want to use in your feed is important.
The Big Dutchman offers two different drum cleaners, which remove stones, sand, and large material from the crop.
Milling the crop into feed
Even distribution of ingredients is key to effective feed. Big Dutchman Hammer Mills are designed to achieve this by adding ingredients at different times during milling so all components reach a similar particle size. Farmers can choose a fine or more structured grind depending on the application. Dust filters help keep the feed hygienic.
