Feed pans for successful broiler feeding

The Big Dutchman FLUXX feed pan is a versatile feeding system for successful broiler production. It is suitable for all ages and able to satisfy the needs of day-old chicks to heavy birds in the final grow-out phase.

The innovative 360° feeding system ensures optimal feeding and minimal wastage. The flooding mechanism ensures a high feed level in the entire pan for day-old chicks to make the feed more accessible. As the birds grow, the whole feed line is raised, which causes the flooding mechanism to close, thus decreasing the feed level inside the pan.

There are different models of FLUXX available to provide the right feed pan for every producer.

Technical

  • Diameter of 330 or 360 mm
  • FLUXX 330 with 5-arm or 14-arm grill
  • FLUXX 360 with 8-arm or 16-arm grill
  • With deep pan or corrugated bottom
  • With or without shut-off
  • Easy adjustment of the feed level using a triple thread (patent EP No. 1458231, EP No. 1458232) – this prevents unintentional adjustment of the feed level

Advantages of Fluxx 330,360

  • Optimal feeding with minimal wastage for all ages
  • An adjustable system that does not require extra work by the grower
  • High feed level in the entire pan for day-old chicks so that the feed is accessible when the pan stands in the litter or on the ground
  • The feed line is raised as the chicks grow to cater to their feeding needs
  • Baffles at the outer cylinder of the pan prevent feed wastage by preventing the birds from pushing feed out of the pan.
  • Screwless snap-on system for easy installation
  • Unintentional adjustment of the feed level is not possible
