Learning, innovation, and practical training!
Tour taken through the Big Dutchman warehouse

Big Dutchman South Africa recently welcomed a group of broiler producers to its offices for a dedicated training day focused on environmental control and farm management technology.
The event was designed to provide customers with practical, hands-on training on the Vento 3 and Breezy climate controllers, helping producers gain a deeper understanding of how these systems can be used to optimize house conditions, improve bird performance, and enhance operational efficiency.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in technical training sessions covering controller functionality, system configuration, monitoring capabilities, and best practices for climate management in modern broiler production. The sessions also provided an opportunity for customers to engage directly with Big Dutchman’s technical specialists, ask questions, and discuss real-world applications on their farms.
As environmental control continues to play a critical role in poultry production, technologies such as the Vento 3 and Breezy controllers enable farmers to maintain precise conditions within poultry houses, supporting bird welfare, feed efficiency, and overall production performance.
In addition to the technical presentations, the training day created a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and networking among producers, fostering discussions around industry challenges, practical solutions, and emerging trends in poultry farming.
Big Dutchman South Africa remains committed to supporting its customers beyond equipment installation by providing ongoing training, technical expertise, and access to the latest innovations in poultry production.
The successful training day reflects the company’s dedication to empowering farmers with the knowledge and tools required to achieve long-term success in an increasingly technology-driven agricultural industry.
We would like to thank all attendees for their participation and look forward to hosting more customer training events in the future.
