Big Dutchman Southern Africa is proud to have exhibited at the 2026 NAMPO Harvest Day, which wraps up today, 15 May, at NAMPO Park in Bothaville, Free State. Organised by Grain SA, NAMPO is one of the largest privately-owned agricultural exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere, and this year’s edition, themed around Resilience through Innovation, proved to be one of the most energetic and well-attended in recent memory.

For Big Dutchman, NAMPO 2026 was more than a trade show. It was an opportunity to bring our full range of pig, poultry, and egg farming solutions to life in a purpose-built exhibition space, and to connect with thousands of producers, agribusiness professionals, and industry partners over four packed days.

“NAMPO is where South African agriculture comes together. Being here with a stand that truly reflects who we are and what we offer was something our whole team is proud of. The conversations, the connections, and the energy this year were exceptional.”

A stand built to impress

This year’s Big Dutchman stand was a step up in every sense. Housed in a fully fitted custom building branded with our iconic logo and “Taking Action For Future Generations” tagline, the space was designed to give visitors a genuine feel for what Big Dutchman equipment looks like in a real production environment.

At the heart of the stand was a striking galvanised silo-style reception desk: a creative nod to agricultural roots that became one of the talking points of the show. Beyond the aesthetics, the stand was stocked with working equipment displays, product demonstrations, and informational panels covering our full range of solutions for broilers, layers, and pig production.

Equipment on show

Visitors had the chance to get up close with a full multi-tier layer cage system, seeing first-hand how Big Dutchman designs for productivity, bird welfare, and ease of management. Alongside the cage display, our controllers and climate management systems were demonstrated live, giving producers a clear view of how data-driven farm management can reduce costs and improve performance.

Our ventilation equipment , including a large tunnel fan fitted with its signature orange cover , was also on display outside the building, giving a tangible sense of the scale and build quality of our climate control offering.
