Keeping tabs on the poultry house while keeping the product range in mind – so that everything fits in the end

They are installed in countless poultry houses around the globe – and do a great job day after day: fresh air inlets from Big Dutchman. They let fresh air flow into the house in a controlled manner and help to reliably direct air flows; in short: they promote a healthy environment in the poultry house. Accessories for the inlets are also part of the poultry equipment supplier’s product range and prove to be just as useful and effective – and sometimes simply indispensable.

Whether you want to protect your flock from other birds and small animals, shield the house from gusty winds or fine-tune air distribution and light incidence: the Big Dutchman portfolio has much to offer to ensure that everything works well in the house and that uninvited guests remain outside:

  • Protective grille against birds: keeps birds and small animals outside where they belong. Installation: at the outside of the inlet with just a simple locking mechanism – that’s it.
  • Air deflector: directs the fresh air flow to where it is needed thanks to the precisely adjustable angle. A welcome side effect: the deflector reduces the angle at which the air enters the building, thus preventing cool air from dropping onto the birds.
  • Anti-wind cap: particularly popular for houses without eaves. Keeps wind and weather away from the inlet.
  • Light trap: noticeably lowers light incidence in combination with the anti-wind cap while hardly compromising air flow. Can easily be removed for cleaning. For the CL-3-1200 series, Big Dutchman offers a “dark-out” version that completely blocks out light – ideal for rearing and breeder houses.
  • Intake nozzle with protective grille against birds: significantly reduces the turbulence when the air flows into the inlet – for more stable air jets, even when the inlet is only slightly open.
