Sensor with light and smartphone control
iDOL 29 feed sensor

Broiler growers know the purpose of control pans in broiler houses: located at the end of the feed line, the control pan signals when new feed should be dispensed. If this pan works reliably, the entire line runs smoothly. If it does not, the farmer will notice at the latest during the inspection rounds: the birds are anxious. iDOL 29 is a feed sensor developed specifically for control pans. It has two benefits that make a big difference in poultry houses: integrated LED illumination and configuration via smartphone.
Light makes the difference
Illumination sounds simple, but it has a very tangible effect: birds accept an illuminated feed pan more easily. They empty such pans more often, which is exactly the point. Because only when the control pan is emptied consistently is fresh feed dispensed into the line reliably. Supply security starts at the control pan.
Contactless configuration of features such as the sensor’s sensitivity, on and off delays, timer function or LED status is easy: open the app – set the parameters – touch the smartphone to the housing – done!
A particularly practical benefit is that settings can be saved and transferred to any number of sensors. Farmers with multiple houses or locations do thus not need to change parameters manually time and again: configured correctly once, the settings can be applied to all sensors.
iDOL 29 comes pre-assembled with the inner cylinder so no additional brackets are required. Retrofitting is no problem: iDOL 29 fits most Big Dutchman feed pans.
