Growing Africa’s Poultry Future, Together
VIV Rwanda – 2026

Big Dutchman was proud to take part in VIV Rwanda, held at the Kigali Convention Centre on 7 and 8 October 2026. The show brought together poultry, dairy and agriculture professionals from across Sub-Saharan Africa and beyond, making it one of the region’s key meeting points for the feed to food value chain.
For the Big Dutchman team, the event was a valuable opportunity to connect with farmers, producers, industry partners and decision makers who are shaping the future of animal protein production in Africa. Conversations centred on the practical challenges producers face every day, from improving flock performance and feed efficiency to building housing systems that suit local climate and operational needs.
Rwanda’s poultry sector is growing, and so is the demand for reliable, efficient and sustainable production. Big Dutchman’s range of poultry solutions, backed by decades of international experience and local support across Southern Africa and export markets, is designed to help producers meet that demand with confidence.
At Big Dutchman, we believe that good farming decisions today build food security for tomorrow. That is why we are taking action for future generations: investing in innovation, supporting producers with the right technology and service, and working alongside our customers to build a stronger, more resilient poultry industry across Africa.
We would like to thank everyone who stopped by to meet the team, share their plans and discuss new opportunities. We look forward to continuing these conversations and to supporting producers in Rwanda and the wider region.
