Taking Action, Earning Recognition
175th Royal Agricultural Show – Howick
Big Dutchman South Africa (BDSA) is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Silver Medallion at this year’s Royal Agricultural Show in Howick.
The show ran from 7 to 11 October and brought together farmers, producers, suppliers and agricultural businesses from across KwaZulu-Natal and beyond. For our team, it was a valuable opportunity to meet poultry and pig producers face to face, talk through the challenges they are dealing with on their farms, and show how modern equipment can help them produce more efficiently.
The Silver Medallion is a meaningful recognition of the work behind our stand and our commitment to supporting the livestock industry in Southern Africa. We are grateful to the show organisers and judges, and to every visitor who stopped by to chat with our team.
“Taking Action for Future Generations” is more than a tagline for us. It reflects how we approach every conversation with producers, from layer and broiler housing to feeding, climate control and egg handling solutions. We want to help build farming operations that last, and events like the Royal Show let us hear directly from the people we work for, so that feedback can shape how we serve them.
Thank you to everyone who visited us in Howick. If you missed us at the show, our team is always happy to talk through your plans, whether you are expanding an existing operation or building something new.
