This layer facility in Pretoria was designed from planning stages with the farmer to ensure a tailored efficient farming solution. Included in the build was the unique Big Dutchman Building fire resistant and energy efficient building material that make the houses easier to climate control and safer. The installation of Big Dutchman layer equipment means that birds are less stressed and more productive because they are accommodated in animal centric housing that ensures manure removal, ventilation and clean water and food. In addition Big Dutchman Buildings take as little as 2 hours to clean which means better hygiene and lower labour costs.
